Three Reasons why Clearwater Beach is the best.

The Sunsets

If you don’t already know; Clearwater beach is located just northwest of Tampa, on the gulf coast of Florida, so the sun sets over the water. This creates an ideal background for pictures and relaxation. The sunset starts off with the sky reflecting an orange light blue color. As the sun slowly descends into what seems to be the ocean, the sky begins to transform into a pink or purple color.

Water and Sand

The water and sand of this gorgeous beach are unforgettable. The sand is pure white and is soft as a pillow. It is great for running around, walking, and playing common beach sports like volleyball, soccer, etc. The sand isn’t rough like other beaches, which makes Clearwater top-tier. The water of the beach is unbelievably clear. It gives a similar appearances to water in the Caribbean. The temperature of the ocean can range from 52 to 88 degrees depending on when you visit. It is obviously much warmer in the summer than winter. There are barely any waves at this beach, making the water fairly calm.

Good Vibe and Perfect for ANYONE

Clearwater beach is perfect for anyone. Whether you are traveling alone, with your family, or friends, it has everything for everyone. There’s a boardwalk to explore with gift stores, and delicious ice cream. The pier provides amazing views of the ocean and beach; however you do have to pay about a dollar to reach the very end of it. The sand is so soft and cozy for walking, building, and sports. And you can finish the day off the breathtaking sunsets!

Extra Info

Clearwater Beach does get busy mid afternoon, but tends to clear out has the day goes on

There are many places to stay along the beach.

It is busier during schools breaks and holiday breaks.

Even if you are staying as far away Orlando, Clearwater Beach is still doable as a day trip, although Orlando is about a two hour car ride depending on traffic.

There are many good restaurants in the area.

The closest airports are St. Pete — Clearwater International Airport and (PIE) and Tampa International Airport.
