Explained in less than 5 mins!!

What to do?

If you don’t know already, Orlando is the city with the most magical place on Earth: Disney World. It is also home to Sea World, and Universal which are very cool as well. This makes Orlando such a fun and popular destination for family vacations! And there are many things to do.

In Disney World, there are four main parks: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is often very crowded, however it is the biggest and has the most to do out of the four. We would definitely recommend seeing Magic Kingdom, despite the crowd, because it is the original park. Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom are all pretty equal in size, but are very different. Hollywood Studios is based off of Hollywood in LA with fame, film, and celebrities. For those who are very daring, we recommend riding the Tower of Terror, which is the ride in the picture above. It is very thrilling, and will provide an unforgettable experience. Epcot is probably one of the more chill parks with fewer rides. At Epcot you “travel” around the world in less than one day. There are different sections of the park, which represent a different countries. Last, but not least there’s Animal Kingdom. At this park, there are many animals like in a zoo. However there are also thrilling rides, like Mount Everest!

Also, at Disney there are two water parks, Blizzard Beach, and Typhoon Lagoon, and a shopping center called Disney Springs. Blizzard Bay is themed to be winter waterpark, with snowman, and toboggan waterslides, which are so fun to ride! Typhoon Lagoon has the coolest wave pool, with one massive wave that hits every 10 to 20 minutes. And Disney Springs is the heart of souvenirs and merchandise, with festive stores everywhere you look. Like we explained before, Universal is located in Orlando as well. Universal is newer, and there are a ton of rides. We also recommend checking out Volcano Bay, which is a waterpark in Universal. There is also Sea World, which is in Orlando, and Lego Land, which is actually an hour away from Orlando.

FYI, Disney recently added a new Stars Wars attraction called “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The park is 14 acres, and is the biggest addition to any of the Disney Parks yet! Stars Wars: Galaxy Edge came out on August 29th 2019, and there is new Star Wars resort as well. Fortunately you don’t any separate reservations or tickets to get in to the park. We highly recommend exploring this park, as it is brand new, and very cool. Who doesn’t love Star Wars?!

Parks Ranked In Order From Favorites to Least Favorite (All Parks are still very cool!)

1. Magic Kingdom

2. Universal

3. Hollywood Studios

4. Animal Kingdom

5. Blizzard Beach

6. Epcot

7. Typhoon Lagoon

8. Lego Land

9. Seaworld

Advice

1. There are a ton of hotels and places to stay in Orlando, however we would recommend you staying in one of the Marriott resorts. They are fairly close to the park, and there are many things to do in the resort.

2. The lines at Disney are SO LONG! There are fast passes you can get online before your trip. We advice you to get fast passes for rides with typical the longest lines like Tower of Terror Hollywood Studios, Mount Everest Animal Kingdom, Big Mount Thunder Magic Kingdom, Space Mountain Magic Kingdom, Splash Mountain Magic Kingdom, and the Slinky Dog Dash Hollywood Studios.

3. There are certain parks that are busier than others. We would advise that you go to the less busier parks like Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Sea world, or Lego land on the weekends, and visit the busier parks, like Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, or Universal on the week days if possible

4. If you are traveling to Orlando then MCO (Orlando International Airport) is probably the airport you fly in and out of. Although it is a pretty cool airport with tons of stores, restaurants, and a nice hotel, it can be quite busy. JAX (Jacksonville International Airport), which is about two and a half hours away from Orlando, is much smaller, calmer, and cheaper than MCO. This can be an alternative airport, and there tends to be less delays as well, however it is further from Orlando.

5. Orlando is fun anytime of the year, however we believe that the best times to go are anytime but the summer. In August and July, Orlando is very hot and humid. Good times to go are April and December. We think that you will get the best weather in April, and the parks are very festive for the holidays in December.
